About Us

Who we are

Pamela and Hector Magnus founded architects magnus in 2002, after designing their own home. Before that, Hector was a partner at Hayer Magnus Architects designing high-end custom residences, golf course clubhouses and various commercial works. Pamela gained experience at Studio E Architects where the focus was on affordable, multi-family housing. We took these contrasting experiences, along with our beliefs in sustainable and modern design, to create our own "livable modern architecture" solutions for new homes, remodels and multi-family projects.

Why Architects Magnus

As architects, we are trained problem-solvers, capable of managing a project from start to finish. We collaborate closely with our clients to interpret their needs. We work with contractors to make sure the project is built as intended. And, we know how to add value to a building by helping you make the right choices (yes, we can save you money in the long run).

Because of our professional commitment to the environment, we help improve the environment at home and reduce our global impact. We make spaces healthier, more energy efficient, and provide long-term solutions for life changes such as growing families and aging parents.

As a husband and wife team, we perhaps offer the most benefit. We understand your perspective: the anticipation, the financial concerns, and the faith you have in us to make it happen. We understand that couples often think and express themselves differently - we certainly do. Our team approach allows us more opportunities to understand your thoughts and design the right solution.

A home is likely your greatest financial and most personal investment. Let us help you get the most out of your project.
