Having travelled the world, the owners wanted to come home to their own tropical paradise. A walk from the garage to the main house through a two-story lanai begins the transition.
A composition of highly detailed simple forms separated by interstitial space allows for maximum use of a tight site. The main house opens to the yards and views of the bay and distant foothills. Experiencing the seasons is delightful - the lanai tempers the seasons by allowing passive heating in the winter months and shading during the summer.
