Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU's) are one part of California's answer to addressing the housing shortage. We designed a unit that replaces the existing garage and puts a full studio apartment on the second story with an intentional twist.

Currently under construction, the Del Mar House design transforms an existing semi-custom home by removing all of the unnecessary extra parts and focusing richer materials on the underlying form. Slated for completion in 2018.
